We are currently seeking experienced IV Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a very part-time basis, based on your availability. This role requires individuals who are able to travel and possess a reliable laptop. As an IV RN, you will be responsible for administering intravenous therapies and treatments to patients in various settings. To facilitate your travel, gas expenses will be covered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled intravenous therapy and treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Assess patients' vascular access needs and select appropriate venous access devices.
• Monitor patients' responses to intravenous therapy and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on intravenous therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
• Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Maintain competency in intravenous therapy techniques and stay abreast of best practices and advancements in the field.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing practice and patient care.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience in intravenous therapy administration.
• Demonstrated competency in venous access device selection, insertion, and maintenance.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a variety of clinical settings.
• Availability to work very part-time hours based on personal schedule and availability.
• Willingness to travel to different locations to provide patient care.
• Access to a reliable laptop for documentation purposes.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
